Good News. Poets have told us there's Good News.

We've got to be thinking of Good News.
For when the news is bad
we can fall and be had.
We've got to know that we're glad
to climb up higher.

When leaders lying win
God knows we have the way up there.
Liars can't fool us
when they say no taxes.
We know our children need
new schools and clothing to go there.

Good News.
We won't believe they are
God's chosen leaders when they lie
to make war anywhere.

Good News.
We want the peace that they promise.
We want the truth that they hide now.
We want the Good News to
stop the war. And
we will vote for Good News.

Romans claimed they had God's Good News.
Crusaders then told us there's Good News.
Corporations now tell us there's Good News
and when their facts look bad
they just change the story.

Good News. Poets have told us there's Good News.

while he fills his pocket
with profits from his Good News.
Doubling gas price is bad news.
Doubling food price is bad news.
Cutting insurance is bad news.
Cutting retirement
and V.A. benefits, bad news.

Vote and make it happen.

Then we will all have our Good News.
Then we will all have our Good... yeah.
Then we will all have our Good, Good, Good, Good News.
